Clapham Junction

On tuesday 9th of November Amir and I took a train to Clapham Junction to visit Levi Roots at his restaurant. We got a train from Weybridge station to clapham and then had a 10 minute walk from the station to Levi's restaurant.

Fortunatley we arrived early for the interview giving us plenty of time to set up our equipment. We were able to access 2 cameras from the school and three tri-pods as amir was able to provide a third camera from home giving us three different angels to shoot from to make the interview more professional. We were also granted use of the yeti from the school to use for our interview so you were able to hear the whole discussion and so the sound was alot clearer. Amir and myself both bought along our laptop so that we could plug in the yeti and have one as back-up. We also took along a camera to capture still shots of the area.

Once Levi had arrived, all of our equipment was ready to go except for the yeti. Amir and Myself had used the yeti before during lessons when we were creating our archive footage with voiceovers but were unable to get the yeti to work for this interview. At this stage we weren't what to do as we didnt think the microphones in the cameras would be strong enough to pick up the sound luckliy with amir's camera there was a jack where a microphone can be pluged in and we had a little clip on microphone to use as back up. Once the other microphone was plugged in we were then able to proceed with the interview.

We asked Levi a variety of questions, below is a print screen of the questions. We Have also decided to film outside Levi's restaurant with and opening paragraph below is a copy of the paragraph.

Once we had finished the interview we took a few still photos around the restaurant and outside with levi. Below are some of the photos we had taken but unfortunatley when transferring the photos over to the laptops some of the file had corrupted and we lost a few of our photos.
